Edo State University Iyamho Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adetimirin, Honored for Transformational Leadership by Medical Students

The Vice Chancellor of Edo State University, Iyamho, Prof. Victor Olawale Adetimirin, has been honoured with an Award of Excellence by the Edo State University Iyamho Medical Students’ Association (ESUIMSA). The award is in recognition of the outstanding progress achieved in all areas within a remarkably short period of leading the institution.

While presenting the award, the President of the association, Mr. Gbonoba Abel, accompanied by members of the EUIMSA Executive Council, Imoakhuede O. Kelvin (General Secretary), Falana Oluwasegun (Treasurer), and Obiorhoma Anne Ogheneruro (Assistant General Secretary) expressed their collective support for the Vice Chancellor. They pledged to continue to project the positive impact of his administration to the wider student body and the public, even after graduation.

In receiving the award, Prof. Adetimirin expressed profound appreciation for the recognition. He highlighted that in less than four (4) months of assuming office, the University has witnessed significant progress across several key areas. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the institution provides/maintains top facilities and a conducive learning environment, in alignment with the mission and vision of its founding fathers.
