Edo State University Uzairue Commences 7th Convocation Activities with Thanksgiving Service

Edo State University, Iyamho, has kicked off its 7th Convocation Ceremony with a solemn thanksgiving church service held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Iyamho, on Sunday, 22nd March 2026.

The Thanksgiving service, attended by esteemed guests including the Council Chairman, Prof. Olusegun Akinyinka, Council Member, Prof. Francis Egbokhare, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Victor O. Adetimirin, members of the management team, staff, and students, witnessed an overwhelming display of unity and joy from the University community.

The highlight of the event was a group photograph taken by the Council Chairman, Vice-Chancellor, and management team with members of staff and students, marking the commencement of this significant milestone.

The Convocation Ceremony proper is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 28th March 2026, at the Aliko Dangote Auditorium, Edo State University, Iyamho.
