The conference, dedicated to advancing innovation, research, and sustainable engineering for a smarter future, was declared open by the Vice-Chancellor of EKSU, Professor J. B. Ayodele.
The opening ceremony featured attendance by top EKSU officials, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Registrar, University Librarian, and Bursar, symbolizing the institution's commitment to the conference.
The University was honored by the presence of key external academic and industry leaders, highlighting the conference's significance:

* Professor Adeyanju, CEO of Galaxy Backbone, Abuja.
