EKSU Sets Deadline for New Students’ Online Verification and Registration

The Management of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has directed all newly admitted candidates for the 2025/2026 academic session to urgently upload their required documents on the University portal and complete the verification, screening, and registration process.

According to an internal memo from the Admissions Office, a large number of candidates who have accepted their admission offers have yet to submit the necessary documents. As of the date of the notice, only 4,688 candidates had successfully completed the process.

The University emphasized that only candidates who generate their matriculation numbers will be recognized as bonafide students and allowed to participate in the upcoming matriculation ceremony. Failure to complete the process before the deadline will result in automatic forfeiture of admission.

The Admissions Office further stressed that registration is compulsory, and no matriculation number will be issued without full compliance with the verification and documentation requirements.

All affected candidates are therefore advised to complete their online submission and registration on the EKSU portal on or before Thursday, January 15, 2026, to secure their admission.
