The Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, Professor Babatola Ayodele, has credited the institution’s transformation and stability in recent years to the deliberate support of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

Speaking during a special thanksgiving service marking his first anniversary as vice chancellor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Life Gate Parish, Ado-Ekiti, Ayodele revealed that the governor has increased the university’s subvention twice in the last three years, enabling EKSU to pursue its mandate effectively.

He noted that the university has recorded remarkable progress, with new academic programmes approved and accredited, thereby increasing EKSU’s appeal as one of the most preferred universities in the country.

Highlighting future plans, Ayodele said the university would embark on new projects including renovation of old buildings, expansion of facilities to accommodate increasing enrollment, and preparations for the establishment of a Law programme under the supervision of the Law Council of Nigeria.
