Engineering and Technology Key to Solving Climate Change Challenges Says EKSU VC
The Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, Professor Joseph Babatola Ayodele, has reaffirmed that engineering and technology are crucial in addressing the challenges posed by climate change.
He made this assertion during his opening address at the 5th International Conference of the Faculty of Engineering, themed "Advancing Engineering and Technology for a Resilient and Sustainable Future."
Professor Ayodele emphasized that engineering and technology hold the key to addressing climate change challenges, citing the need for practical solutions to mitigate its impacts.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Ayodele, the Keynote Speaker, Professor James Oluwagbenga Aribisala, and the Lead Paper Presenter, Professor Ibrahim A. Adeyanju, were honored for their exemplary leadership and academic excellence.
Professor Ayodele urged participants to channel their expertise towards innovations that promote sustainability, energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility. He reiterated EKSU's commitment to expanding the frontiers of engineering education and research in alignment with global best practices.
