Explosion Kills Two Almajiri Students in Abuja Community

A tragic explosion at an Islamiyyah school in the Kuchibiyu community, Bwari Area Council, FCT, claimed the lives of two Almajiri students and injured two others. 

The incident occurred when one boy unwrapped a suspected improvised explosive device (IED), killing him instantly and injuring three friends, one of whom later died at the hospital.

Emergency responders, including police bomb experts and soldiers, secured the area, and calm has been restored. Speculation about the explosion’s nature persists, but no confirmation of a suicide bombing has been made. 

Police have yet to release an official statement.
