Family of Kidnapped UDUS Student Basheerah Pleads for Help

On Tuesday, 7th October, 2025. The family of the recently inducted Usman Dan Fodio University Radiographer who was kidnapped in Niger State on her way back home after her induction ceremony seek public prayer and monetary support.

According to the notice released, this step came after days of efforts to secure her freedom including tough and intense negotiations to reduce the outrageous ransom demand of a whooping sum of 200 million Naira have proven abortive.

The family has come to realise after numerous failed negotiations that waiting any longer without further action or attempt to accumulate the Ransome demands could jeopardize the safety of the victim and also elongate the disheartening situation on ground.

Basheerah's family politely appealed to the general public, compassionate friends, colleagues, and well-meaning Nigerians to kindly and massively support in any capacity possible towards securing the victim's safe and quick release.

The notice also included the account details of the victim's father for prospective donors to reach and it reads:
