The Federal College of Education (FCE), Obudu, was abuzz with excitement on the morning of Tuesday, 26th August 2025, as the Sen. Greg Ngaji Lecture Theatre hosted the highly anticipated YouWin Entrepreneurship Lecture under the YouWin Enterprise Education Programme.

The Federal College of Education (FCE), Obudu, was abuzz with excitement on the morning of Tuesday, 26th August 2025, as the Sen. Greg Ngaji Lecture Theatre hosted the highly anticipated YouWin Entrepreneurship Lecture under the YouWin Enterprise Education Programme.

Every seat was filled, with students standing along the aisles, eager to gain insights that could shape their future careers.

The event commenced with welcoming remarks from the Provost, Dr. Richard Ugbaha Utubaku, represented by the Dean of Student Affairs, Apostle Dr. M.C. Agim. He commended the Federal Government for bringing the programme to the College and urged students to embrace entrepreneurship as a path to success. “The ones thriving in our nation today are those who dare to create, innovate, and build businesses,” he reminded the audience, earning nods of agreement from students.

Members of the College management, including Dr. Godwin Tsua, Director of the Entrepreneurship Centre; Mrs. Udeme Okon-Enoh, Dean of Languages; and Dr. Regina Agbogo, Director of Degree Programmes, were present, highlighting FCE Obudu’s strong commitment to entrepreneurship development.

A message from the Honourable Minister of Finance, delivered by Mr. Timothy, encouraged students to seize the opportunity, stressing that the lessons from the programme could lay the foundation for future success.

The lecture was delivered by Pastor Bature Jeremiah of YouWin Connect, who energized the audience with compelling stories, practical insights, and strategies for business creation and innovation. Students left the session motivated, equipped with new knowledge and a renewed sense of purpose to explore entrepreneurial opportunities.
