Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Announces New Appointments and Departmental Changes

As part of the ongoing reorganization efforts, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir, has approved the appointment of new Directors and Deputy Directors.
Dr. Bala Salisu has been appointed as Director of Research Development, while Awwal Ayuba Darki will head the Entrepreneurship Development Centre. Ibrahim Ishaku has been appointed as Director of Vocational Education and Skill Development, and Dr. Zainab Ciroma will lead the Career Development Centre.
Engr. Dr. Falmata Audu and Engr. Nura Hassan have been appointed as Deputy Directors of Entrepreneurship Development Centre and Vocational Education and Skill Development, respectively.
According to the polytechnic's management, all appointments are for a period of three years and take immediate effect.
In another development, the Rector has created two new departments: Applied Chemistry and Applied Physics. Ladi Lawan and Ahmed Goje have been appointed as Acting Heads of the Applied Chemistry and Applied Physics Departments, respectively, for a period of one year.
These changes are aimed at enhancing the polytechnic's academic and administrative structures.
