Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello, Rector of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, engaged in an interactive session with staff members on Thursday, emphasizing his commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the institution.

 

The session, held at the Polytechnic auditorium, aimed to encourage collaboration and openness among staff, students, and management. Dr. Bello welcomed ideas and suggestions from staff, stressing the importance of addressing challenges and seizing opportunities to drive growth and development.

He also emphasized the need for discipline, urging staff to shun absenteeism, lateness, and other unacceptable behaviors that could undermine the institution's progress ¹. The interactive session was attended by representatives from the four staff unions (ASUP, SSANIP, NAAT, and NASU), as well as Deputy Rectors, the Registrar, and other Principal Officers .
