Federal Polytechnic Oko Appoints Mr. John Omaliko as Acting Chief Internal Auditor

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, has officially appointed Mr. John Omaliko of the Audit Unit as the institution’s new Acting Chief Internal Auditor. The appointment letter was formally presented to him today by the Rector.

Mr. Omaliko, a seasoned Chief Accountant, holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and is a proud member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). He is married and blessed with children.

Speaking during the presentation, Dr. Awuzie described him as a “round peg in a round hole,” emphasizing that his appointment aligns with her administration’s commitment to merit, competence, and professionalism in strategic offices.

The Rector expressed confidence that Mr. Omaliko will steer the Internal Audit Office with diligence, accountability, and transparency, contributing positively to the growth and integrity of the Polytechnic.
