Federal Polytechnic Oko Appoints New Director for ODFel

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, has appointed Dr. Chikwelu Mbonu as the new Director of Open, Distance, and Flexible Learning (ODFel). Dr. Mbonu, a seasoned academic from the Accountancy department, brings a wealth of experience to the role.

The ODFel directorate is expected to leverage open, distance, and flexible learning to expand access to quality education, promoting flexibility and convenience for students. Dr. Mbonu has promised to elevate the directorate to meet the Rector's transformative and progressive educational policies, aimed to position the institution at its best.

The appointment follows Dr. Mbonu's previous experience as the Dean of the School of Financial Studies. His leadership is expected to drive innovation and excellence in the ODFel directorate.
