Federal Polytechnic Wannune Appoints Three New Principal Officers

The appointments fill vacancies created by the expiration of the tenure of the former office holders.
The newly appointed officers are:
- Dr. Joseph Segun (Kogi State) – Registrar
- Mr. Nongo James Aondoaseer (Benue State) – Bursar
- Mrs. Dinnah Innocent (Taraba State) – Librarian

Their emergence followed a highly competitive process conducted by experienced consultants and field marshals to ensure merit, compliance, and institutional standards.
Presenting the letters of engagement, Chairman of the Governing Council, Chief Mike Msuaan, urged the appointees to demonstrate diligence, professionalism, and responsiveness in the discharge of their duties.
The Rector, Dr. Tyover Ashinya Dajoh, expressed confidence in the integrity of the selection process, emphasizing that transparency and fairness guided the exercise. He noted that the outcome reflected the principles of Federal Character and gender sensitivity.
The process was monitored by representatives of the Federal Character Commission, National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), and Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU), all of whom attested to full compliance with regulatory standards.
The newly appointed principal officers are scheduled to officially assume duties on Monday, March 16, 2026.
