Federal University Gusau Appoints Professor Tukur Adamu as Fourth Substantive Vice-Chancellor

The Governing Council of the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) has announced the appointment of Professor Tukur Adamu as the institution's fourth substantive Vice-Chancellor.

Professor Adamu currently serves as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation & Development at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. 

He is set to officially assume his new leadership role effective February 10, 2026. The outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Bashiru Garba, MFR, and the entire university community extended their congratulations to Professor Adamu, acknowledging his many years of dedicated service to the university and wishing him success in his new position.
