Federal University Gusau Vice-Chancellor Pays Courtesy Visit to NUC Executive Secretary
A delegation from the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi, and the Federal University Gusau visited NUC Executive Secretary, Professor Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, to congratulate him on his appointment.

A delegation comprising top officials from two federal universities paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, FCVSN, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, to congratulate him on his new appointment.
The delegation included the Vice-Chancellors of the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi, Adamawa State, and the Federal University Gusau, Zamfara State, Professor Bitrus Tarfa. Also in attendance was the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi, Dr. Rukayattu Gurin.
During the visit, the Executive Secretary expressed his appreciation for their goodwill and reaffirmed his commitment to working collaboratively with university leaders to advance the Nigerian University System (NUS). He emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships to enhance the quality of higher education in the country.
The visit underscored the strong relationship between the NUC and Nigeria’s higher education institutions, fostering discussions on policies and strategies aimed at improving academic standards and university administration.
