Federal University Lokoja Expands Academic Offerings with NUC Approval

The Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to introduce new academic programs, expanding its offerings to students.

The approved programs include:
- LL.B. Law
- Pharm.D. Doctor of Pharmacy
- B. Agriculture
- B. Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS)
- B.Ed. Educational Management and Planning

Furthermore, the NUC has also approved eight academic programs to be run at the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, in affiliation with Federal University Lokoja.

The approval, contained in a letter dated 20th May 2024, was conveyed by the NUC's Ag. Director of Academic Planning, Abubakar M. Girei, to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi. The programs are scheduled to commence in the 2024/2025 academic session.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed his elation at the development, praising the efforts of the university community and the NUC for their support.
