Federal University of Education, Zaria Announces Key Administrative Appointments
Additionally, Malam Muhammad Kabir Aliyu, the former Deputy Bursar, has been named Acting Bursar, while Dr. Haliru Musa, formerly the Deputy Provost, is now Acting Director of Academic Planning.

Following the conversion of Federal College of Education, Zaria, into the Federal University of Education, Zaria, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Ambassador Jidda, has approved significant administrative appointments.
Malam Shehu Iya Sa'idu, former Overseer of the Registry Department at the defunct FCE Zaria, has been appointed Acting Registrar. Malam Ahmed Tijjani Abdul, previously Acting Librarian of FCE Zaria, is now the university's Acting Librarian. Additionally, Malam Muhammad Kabir Aliyu, the former Deputy Bursar, has been named Acting Bursar, while Dr. Haliru Musa, formerly the Deputy Provost, is now Acting Director of Academic Planning.
The appointments took effect on 25th September 2024 and 2nd October 2024, respectively.
Ambassador Jidda congratulated the appointees on behalf of the Governing Council, urging them to display strong leadership and dedication in their new roles. He also thanked the university community for their continued support and expressed optimism for the institution's future growth.
