Federal University of Kashere Faculty of Social Sciences Inaugurates First-Ever Student Association Exco

The Faculty of Social Sciences at Federal University of Kashere (FUK) has achieved a significant milestone with the inauguration of its first-ever association executives (Exco) for the Social Science Students Association of Nigeria (SOSSAN).
The historic event took place on March 10, 2025, marking the culmination of efforts that began in 2022. Comrade Abass, a 400-level Criminology student, initiated the movement, which gained momentum in late 2023 and early 2024 under the leadership of Comrade Adebayo Samuel Oluwakayode, a Mass Communication student.
Comrade Adebayo, along with Comrade Awwal (Sociology), Comrade Abass (Criminology), and Comrade Skiddo (Geography), worked tirelessly to establish the association. Despite initial challenges, the team persevered, finalizing the association's name, logo, and motto.
The faculty dean has pledged support for the association, and the pioneer Exco, led by Comrade Jimmy, has vowed to ensure all necessary protocols are in place. Dr. Kabiru Muhammed has been appointed as the pioneer patron.
This achievement marks the beginning of a new era of change and progress in the faculty, with students eagerly anticipating the impact of this team.
