Federal University Wukari Announces Vacancies for Vice-Chancellor and University Librarian

The Governing Council of Federal University Wukari has announced vacancies for the positions of Vice-Chancellor and University Librarian, effective February 10, 2026.

The Vice-Chancellor is the Chief Executive and Academic Officer of the University, responsible for academic, physical, and infrastructural development. The University Librarian is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the University Library.

Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply for the positions. The application deadline is six weeks from the date of publication.

Applicants for the Vice-Chancellor position must have at least 10 years of experience as a Professor, while those applying for the University Librarian position must possess a good Honours Degree in Library or University Librarian position must have a strong research and publication record, as well as experience in automation of library services.

The positions are expected to be held for a single, non-renewable term of five years. The remuneration and conditions of service will be as applicable in Federal Universities in Nigeria.
