FEDPODAM SUG President Represents Institution at NELFUND Stakeholders' Engagement

The President of the Student Union Government (SUG) at Federal Polytechnic Damaturu (FEDPODAM), Comr. Sen. Abdulkadir Rabiu Suleiman, recently attended the NELFUND Stakeholders' Engagement Session held in Abuja.

The event brought together student leaders from public and state-owned institutions across Nigeria to discuss the Nigerian Education Loan Fund's vision, mission, and implementation. The SUG president was enlightened on the student loan system's structure, from application to disbursement, and the role of student leaders in driving awareness and guiding fellow students.

The president assured NELFUND officials of the student union's full cooperation in ensuring that FEDPODAM students benefit from the loan scheme. A sensitization program is expected to be organized for students on how to access the NELFUND loan.
