FME Needs Assessment Team Conducts Final Inspection of Projects at Kano State Polytechnic

The management of Kano State Polytechnic received a four-member team from the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) on Tuesday, March 5, 2026, for the final monitoring of the 2022 Needs Assessment Projects exercise.

According to the team leader, Mrs. Gloria Opara, the visit aimed to verify the level of implementation and the completion status of the approved projects, assess compliance with the approved specifications and scope of work, document the findings, and make appropriate recommendations to the ministry.

In his welcome address, the Rector, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, FCA, who was ably represented by the Registrar, Mukhtar Ibrahim Bello (Falakin Kano), lauded the ministry's efforts for the initiative, noting that it would solve many problems facing beneficiary institutions.

He hoped to keep receiving subsequent interventions from the ministry.

The Registrar assured the team of the management's full cooperation for the success of the exercise.

The team visited and inspected various projects executed through the 2022 Needs Assessment intervention, under the guidance of Budget Monitoring Committee (BMC) members.
