FUAMB Vice-Chancellor Joins Adamawa Institutional Heads on Sallah Homage to Governor Fintiri

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi (FUAMB), Professor Bitrus Dawi Tarfa, on 28th May, 2026, joined heads of tertiary institutions and other key stakeholders across Adamawa State on a Sallah homage visit to the Governor of Adamawa State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON.

The visit, which symbolized unity, cooperation, and a shared commitment to the continued growth and development of Adamawa State, brought together prominent government officials and political leaders, including the Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Professor Kaletapwa G. Farauta; the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Auwal D. Tukur; the APC Governorship Flag Bearer, Alhaji Ahmed Tijjani Galadima; and the APC State Chairman, Hon. Hamza Alhaji Bello, among other dignitaries.

Speaking during the visit, Professor Bitrus Dawi Tarfa commended Governor Fintiri for his sustained support toward educational advancement, institutional development, and infrastructural growth across the state. He reaffirmed FUAMB’s commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that promote academic excellence, innovation, agricultural transformation, and sustainable development.

Professor Tarfa further noted that the University remains committed to contributing meaningfully to the socio-economic development of Adamawa State through quality teaching, research, community service, and strategic partnerships.

In his remarks, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri appreciated the delegation for the Sallah homage and emphasized the importance of unity, collaboration, and collective responsibility in sustaining the developmental strides being recorded across the state. He urged stakeholders to continue working together in the interest of peace, progress, and prosperity.
