FUBK Holds 26th Seminar Series on Mineral Exploration

The Federal University Birnin Kebbi yesterday held the 26th edition of its Seminar Series, featuring an insightful presentation by Dr. Adamu Abubakar of the Department of Applied Geophysics titled “Geophysical Survey Design, Data Acquisition, Processing and Interpretation for Mineral Exploration in Southern Parts of Kebbi State: Field Configuration in Line with Global Best Practices.”

Chaired by the Permanent Secretary, Kebbi State Ministry of Solid Minerals Development and Mining, Alh. Bello Yahaya Geza, the seminar provided an engaging platform for knowledge sharing and robust discussions on mineral exploration in the state. The seminar also had in attendance the newly appointed Commissioner in the Ministry, Hon. Garba Hassan Warrah, which marked his first official outing since assumption of office as Honourable Commissioner.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor MZ Umar, commended the presenter, participants and dignitaries for making the seminar a resounding success. He reaffirmed the university's commitment to research, innovation and community engagement.
