The Federal University of Lafia's (FULafia) Accounting Department, led by Head of Department, Dr. Tijani Ahmed Ajayi, embarked on a community outreach program, visiting local businesses in Lafia town.

The initiative aimed to:

1. Expose students to practical accounting processes.

2. Educate business owners on proper financial record-keeping.

3. Provide basic accounting skills for effective business management.

Dr. Ajayi emphasized the importance of financial management, stating, "Controlling and tracking money flowing in and out of business ensures profitability and financial security."
