FULAFIA Delegation Meets with Nasarawa State Urban Development Board to Discuss House Naming and Numbering

A delegation from the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), led by Prof. Samaila Usman Dakyes, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Partnerships), visited the Nasarawa State Urban Development Board (NUDB) to discuss the naming and numbering of houses in surrounding communities of the university.

The delegation, which included Yusuf Danjuma Obiya, Director of Physical Planning, and Ibrahim Mijinyawa, Head of the Directorate of Environmental Safety, met with Eng. Muhammad Wada, Managing Director of NUDB, to explore ways to enhance the addressing system in the communities surrounding the university.

The meeting aimed to facilitate collaboration between FULafia and NUDB to establish a standardized naming and numbering system, improving navigation, security, and service delivery in the area.
