FULAFIA Health Services Conducts Training on Cardiac Arrest Management

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) Directorate of Health Services organized a training session on providing first aid for cardiac arrest patients.

The event, held at the Old Senate Chamber, aimed to address the growing number of deaths due to cardiac arrest.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman commended the initiative, emphasizing the importance of collaboration to improve healthcare and safety. He encouraged staff to take advantage of the training.

Director of FULafia Health Services, Dr. Sunday Agunade, demonstrated techniques for managing cardiac arrest cases, stressing that the first 10 minutes are crucial for patient survival.

The training was attended by senior staff members, including Deputy Vice-Chancellors, the Registrar, Bursar, and other principal officers.
