The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has organized an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Sensitization Training for its top management and academic staff. The training, held at the Mallam Adamu Adamu Lecture Complex, aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to effectively integrate AI into their various roles.
Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs, Prof. Aleruchi Chuku, welcomed participants and emphasized the importance of AI in enhancing academic and administrative operations.
The training brought together provosts, deans, deputy deans, directors, deputy directors, professors, associate professors, heads of department, senior deputy registrars, deputy registrars, senior deputy bursars, chief accountants, and principal accountants from across the university.
This initiative demonstrates FULafia's commitment to embracing innovation and technology to improve its services and academic programs. By leveraging AI, the university aims to enhance its operational efficiency, decision-making processes, and overall academic excellence.
