FULafia SSANU Holds 2nd Quadrennial Congress, Re-elects Leaders

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) Branch, has held its 2nd Quadrennial Congress, re-electing its leaders for another four-year term.

 

Comrade Daniel Da'an Dajen was re-elected as Chairman, alongside other officials, including Abdulraheem A. Opeyemi (Deputy Vice Chairman), Buba Ibrahim (Secretary), and Grace Augustine (Assistant Secretary).

The event, held at the MIS Hall, FULafia, Permanent Site Campus, Lafia, was attended by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs, Prof. Aleruchi Chuku.

In his acceptance speech, Comrade Dajen pledged to improve members' welfare and called for collaboration with other unions to advance FULafia's development. The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the need to prioritize institutional interests in all union activities.
