FULafia Vice-Chancellor Appoints New MIS Director, Extends Tenures of Key Officials
In addition to this appointment, Prof. Abdul Rahman extended the tenure of Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Rabiu, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, until October 10, 2024.

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the appointment of Engr. Torkuma Agber as the Acting Director of the Management Information System (MIS) for a one-year term, starting from September 10, 2024.
In addition to this appointment, Prof. Abdul Rahman extended the tenure of Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Rabiu, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, until October 10, 2024.
Other notable appointments include Dr. Ayeni Omini Abam as the Acting Head of the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Science, for a one-year term effective from September 19, 2024, and Dr. Adikaibe Valentine as the Acting Head of the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, for a one-year term starting on September 5, 2024.
The university’s Registrar, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, announced the appointments.
