FULafia Vice-Chancellor Bags Excellent Service Award

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has been conferred with an Excellent Service Award by the Agricultural Society of Nigeria (ASN) for his remarkable contributions to agricultural development, academic excellence, and leadership.

The award was presented during the 59th Annual Hybrid Conference and General Business Meeting of ASN, held at the National Root Crops Research Institute (NRCRI), Umudike, Abia State. Prof. Abdul Rahman was recognized for his visionary leadership and contributions to agricultural research and education.

He expressed appreciation for the honor and reaffirmed FULafia's commitment to promoting agricultural research, innovation, and technology-driven solutions. Other notable personalities honored at the event included Prof. Olusola Kehinde, Prof. Maduebisi Ofo Iwe, and Prof. Victor Osodeke.
