In a notice released by the Office of the SUG Provost Marshal, students were warned to exercise caution, particularly around the Crusher Axis and Felele Extension. The statement strongly advises students to avoid unnecessary movement, stay clear of these areas during odd hours, and report any suspicious persons or activities immediately to both university authorities and security agencies.

The union, led by Comr. Joseph Adomu FBJ and the Cadet Initiative, reaffirmed its commitment to student safety, emphasizing ongoing collaboration with the university’s security board and relevant law enforcement agencies to mitigate risks and ensure a secure campus environment.
