FUNAAB and SON Partner to Drive Research Standardisation and Innovation

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has strengthened its commitment to transforming academic research into practical innovations meeting national and international standards through a partnership with the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON).

A public lecture, themed "Standardisation of Research Products and University Collaboration with Industry and Manufacturers," highlighted FUNAAB's drive towards contributing to Nigeria's socio-economic development through quality assurance and technological advancement.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Babatunde Kehinde emphasised the importance of aligning research outputs with global benchmarks, while SON's Mr. Adebayo Shittu outlined strategies for enhancing university-industry collaboration, including joint research initiatives and integrating industry standards into academic curricula.
