FUNAAB DPR Revives Official YouTube Channel for Digital Archiving of Institutional Activities

The Directorate of Public Relations (DPR) of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has revitalised the University’s official YouTube channel as part of efforts to digitally preserve major institutional events and enhance global visibility.

The initiative is designed to serve as a cloud-based repository for short, professionally processed and edited video recordings of key university activities. According to the Directorate, major programmes, ceremonies, inaugural lectures, and other significant institutional engagements will now be systematically documented and archived in video format to safeguard the University’s legacy and ensure long-term accessibility.

The move is also expected to strengthen the University’s digital presence by enabling members of the academic community, alumni, stakeholders, and the wider public to easily access and review notable events and milestones regardless of location.
