The Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR) held its 2026 New Year Prayer Meeting on January 7, 2026, at the Institute’s headquarters.

The Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR) held its 2026 New Year Prayer Meeting on January 7, 2026, at the Institute’s headquarters.

In his address, Prof. Kazeem Bello, Director of IFSERAR, underscored the importance of unity, cooperation, and mutual respect among staff as key drivers of institutional growth. He warned that internal conflicts could hinder progress and urged all staff to remain focused on the Institute’s collective goals.

Prof. Bello further described IFSERAR as “on a moving train,” emphasizing the need for staff to deliver impactful results. He also provided updates on ongoing initiatives, noting that livestock projects and maize cultivation have commenced, with initial harvests already recorded.
