The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) will hold its 107th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building.

FUNAAB to Host 107th Inaugural Lecture on Innovative Waste-Based Concretes

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) will hold its 107th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building.

The event is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m., with seating for guests from 1:30 p.m.

The lecture, titled “From Waste to Strength: The Power of Geopolymer, Rubberized and Plastic Waste Concretes for a Cleaner Environment,” will be delivered by Engr. (Prof.) Joseph Olawale Akinyele of the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, FUNAAB.
