In a strategic move to enhance environmental management and campus aesthetics, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, has officially commissioned and distributed a new fleet of industrial maintenance equipment.

The procurement, aimed at decentralizing and improving the efficiency of groundskeeping across the institution, saw a significant allocation to the Student Affairs Division, which received six industrial brush cutters and one specialized push mower.

Speaking during the handover, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized the administration's commitment to providing a conducive environment for learning and research. The deployment of this equipment is expected to streamline the upkeep of college surroundings and student residential areas, especially as the university prepares for its upcoming 33rd Convocation activities scheduled for 2026.
