FUTA Appoints Kehinde Oladeji as Acting Bursar
The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has announced the appointment of Mr. Kehinde Oladeji as the Acting Bursar, effective Thursday, August 1st, 2024. In his new role as Acting Bursar, Mr. Oladeji is expected to leverage his extensive experience and expertise to ensure the continued financial stability and operational efficiency of FUTA.
The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has announced the appointment of Mr. Kehinde Oladeji as the Acting Bursar, effective Thursday, August 1st, 2024.
This appointment follows the completion of Mr. Julius Adeshoba's tenure as Bursar on July 31, 2024.

Mr. Oladeji, a native of Akure, brings a wealth of experience to the role. He began his educational journey at Akure Secondary Commercial School, and after obtaining his Higher School Certificate from Ondo State College of Arts and Science in 1982, he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, graduating in June 1987.
His academic achievements include a Postgraduate Diploma from the then Ondo State University in 1995 and a Master of Business Administration from FUTA in 1998.

Mr. Oladeji's professional career commenced at the Nigerian Agriculture and Cooperative Bank, where he served as Finance Officer II before advancing to Assistant Manager between 1989 and 1999. He subsequently worked as a Zonal Manager in Finance at the Nigerian Institute of Management from 1999 to 2003, before joining FUTA as a Principal Accountant. His tenure at FUTA saw him rise to the position of Deputy Bursar in 2003.
He has also served as Bursar at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo from December 2010 to December 2015, and at Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa from March 2017 to March 2022.
Mr. Oladeji is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
