The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) has alerted candidates, parents, guardians, and the general public to beware of fraudsters demanding money in connection with its ongoing admission process.

The University stated that admission is strictly merit-driven and cannot be influenced by payment to individuals or groups under any guise, whether for checking or uploading results, or for manipulating the process.

FUTA further advised that the only authentic sources of information about the University are its official bulletins, website (www.futa.edu.ng), official Facebook page, and verified X (Twitter) handle. Candidates were warned not to engage with third-party contacts or phone numbers not listed on the University’s website.

All registrations and payments for Post-UTME are to be made strictly through official channels on the FUTA website. The University emphasized that no money should be paid into any private account for any reason whatsoever.
