He described FUTES-IYIN as a fast-growing university whose rapid infrastructural and academic development under the leadership of Prof. Aribisala has become commendable and worthy of support.

“Whenever a new university is established, especially within our environment, we see it as a responsibility to contribute meaningfully. It is not just about coming to benefit from the system; we must also give back, and that is exactly what we have done,” he said.

Mr. Anthony further noted that although the University was established alongside others within the same period, its level of development stands out.

“I have visited about three other newly established universities, but the level of development and infrastructural presence here is quite remarkable. In fact, one of them is yet to take off. I was surprised to see between 15 to 20 structures already in place in a university that started barely a year ago. I am proud of what Prof. Aribisala and his team have achieved,” he added.

Mr. Anthony also used the occasion to urge other corporate organisations and well-meaning individuals to emulate similar initiatives, noting that FUTES-IYIN holds great potential as the first fully inclined University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, with a clear vision for innovation, sustainability, and national development.
