FUTES-IYIN Vice-Chancellor Honoured with Distinguished Leadership Award

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti, Prof. Gbenga Aribisala, has been honoured with a Distinguished Leadership Award by Ekiti State University.

The award was presented by the Faculty of Engineering during the induction and oath-taking ceremony for the 2024/2025 graduating class into the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria.

Organisers of the event stated that the honour recognises Prof. Aribisala’s leadership capacity, strategic vision, and sustained contributions to the advancement of engineering practice. They noted that his work continues to align with global best practices and professional standards within the discipline.

The Faculty of Engineering further described the Vice-Chancellor as a figure whose influence extends beyond his institution, highlighting his growing reputation across both academic and professional engineering communities.
