FUTIA Announces Date for 3rd Matriculation Ceremony for 2025/2026 Freshers

The Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA), Akwa Ibom State, has announced Thursday, January 15, 2026, as the date for its 3rd Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students of the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the official notice released by the University, the ceremony will take place at the FUTIA Pavilion by 10:00 a.m. prompt, and will formally usher fresh students into the academic community of the institution.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Leo Daniel, PhD (Lond), AFAIAA, FIMMM, FRAeS, on behalf of the Governing Council and the Senate, has extended a formal invitation to members of the University community, parents, guardians and the general public to witness the statutory admission of the new students.
The event will be coordinated by the Registrar, Mrs. Offiongita E. Nkang, FNIM, FIPMA.
All invited guests and participating students are advised to be seated early, as the ceremony will commence strictly at the scheduled time.
