FUTMinna SUG Announces Campus Network Upgrades and Free Glo e-SIM Registration

The Student Union Government (SUG) wishes to inform the entire student community that, following a meeting with Glo Network representatives, attended by the Dean Student Affairs, SUG President and other relevant stakeholders, concrete steps have been taken to address the persistent network challenges affecting students.

In recognition of the hardship caused by frequent network failures and glitches, Glo Network, in collaboration with the Student Union Government, will be conducting free e-SIM registration for students as part of efforts to provide immediate relief and long-term solutions.

Free e-SIM registration will commence from tomorrow at the Post Office.

Additional network masts will be mounted within the campus, with plans for network extension to off-campus areas, to ensure improved and stable connectivity.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of this initiative as the Union remains committed to improving students’ welfare and academic experience.
