The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has provided clarification regarding the temporary closure of the university’s school portal.

In a press release dated 18th January 2026 and signed by the Office of the Public Relations Officer, the Union explained that the portal was closed following the expiration of a previously set deadline by university management. The closure had caused concern among students who depend on the portal for payments, course registration, and other academic activities.

The SUG reassured students that it is in active communication with relevant university authorities to ensure the portal is reopened promptly. Students were urged to remain calm, as reopening will facilitate school fees payment, course registration, and other essential academic processes.
