Gbajabiamila Empowers Surulere Students with Massive Distribution of Learning Materials

The Chief of Staff of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila ably represented by Honourable Member representing the Surulere federal constituency I Hon. Fuad Laguda alongside the Education Permanent Secretary Education District IV Mr Paseda Olufemi Bamidele conducted an official visit to distribute learning materials to selected schools within his constituency at Ajigbeda Girls Senior High School Surulere Lagos The initiative was aimed at improving access to quality educational resources and enhancing effective teaching and learning in public schools.

The primary objectives of the exercise were to Support students with essential learning materials,reduce the financial burden on parents and guardians,promote academic excellence and improved performance. Strengthen government commitment to educational development encourage students to remain focused and dedicated to their studies.

The Honourable Member representing the chief of staff expressed appreciation to the Education Ministry for its collaboration and reiterated commitment to supporting the education sector. He encouraged students to make good use of the materials and remain disciplined, hardworking, and focused on their academic pursuits.

The Tutor General/Permanent Secretary Education District IV Mr Paseda Olufemi Bamidele commended the initiative of the Chief of Staff,describing it as a strategic intervention to improve learning outcomes. The Permanent Secretary emphasized proper utilization and maintenance of the materials.

He also encouraged school administrators and teachers to ensure accountability and proper record-keeping of the distributed items.

The items distributed include; Exercise books,Textbooks, School bags, Writing materials (pens, pencils, rulers) and Mathematical sets among others.

The distribution of the learning materials was successful and well-coordinated. It demonstrated dedication to improving educational standards and supporting students’ academic growth. The initiative is expected to positively impact students’ performance and overall school development.
