LAUTECH VC Commissions New Crèche to Support Staff Welfare

Vice Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, this afternoon commissioned a Crèche, located at the College of Health Sciences, for the use of staff of the institution.

At the event which took place within the College premises, Professor Kalilu, in the presence of the Registrar, Mrs Olayinka Balogun, and Provost of the College of Health Sciences, Professor Adenike Olugbenga Bello, said establishment of the facility was long over due.

He said the University was committed to raising the standard now that it has been established and urged management of the Crèche to put the place to the best use of humanity, adding that a more befitting space would be facilitated soon.

In her own address at the occasion, Professor Adenike Olugbenga Bello, thanked Management of the University for approving that the Crèche be established.

Other dignitaries at the brief ceremony included Secretary to the Board of the College of Health Sciences; Mr. Paul Akanbi, Dean of Basic Medical Sciences; Dr. Saka Waidi, and Dr. Ganiyat Adeniran, who represented the Dean of Nursing Sciences; Professor Florence Oluyemisi Adeyemo, among others.
