The programme covered the fundamentals of campus intelligence, SWOT analysis of campus intelligence, customer relationship management, reasons customers leave organisations, student relationship management and techniques for handling difficult customers.

The university said the initiative was part of its efforts to create a safe, welcoming and well-managed campus environment while improving the quality of interaction between staff and members of the university community.

A major component of the programme was an “Attitudinal Checklist” completed by participants to assess their workplace attitudes and behaviour.

Speaking on the significance of the training, the organisers said strengthening the capacity of staff responsible for security and hostel management was essential to maintaining a safe campus environment and improving students’ overall experience.

The training also emphasised the importance of understanding students as key stakeholders and responding professionally to their concerns, particularly in situations involving difficult interactions.
