RSU Opens Supplementary Admission Applications for 2026/2027 Academic Session

The Management of Rivers State University has announced the commencement of supplementary applications for admission into its various programmes and courses for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the university, supplementary applications are now open to prospective candidates seeking admission into all programmes and courses, except the following:

• Law

• Medicine and Surgery

• Nursing

• Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering

• Civil Engineering

• Computer Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Marine Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering

• Petroleum Engineering

Candidates who did not meet the Merit and Catchment Area cut-off marks for their preferred programme or programmes have been advised to take advantage of the supplementary admission opportunity and explore other available programmes.

Eligible candidates are expected to complete their supplementary applications through the Rivers State University Candidate Application Portal at on or before September 6, 2026.
