Gombe State College of Health Sciences and Technology Secures Approval for New Programmes

Gombe State College of Health Sciences and Technology Kaltungo has secured approval from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to commence four new programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The approved programmes include:

- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nutrition and Dietetics

- National Diploma (ND) in Community Health Technology

- National Diploma (ND) in Health Education and Promotion

- National Diploma (ND) in Medical Laboratory Technology

These new programmes will be offered in addition to the existing NBTE-approved programmes in the college, which include HND and ND in Health Information Management, Environmental Health Technology, Epidemiology and Disease Control Technology, and Public Health Technology.

Candidates who have sat for the 2025 UTME and wish to obtain admission into any of the ND programmes at the college are encouraged to apply through the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) on JAMB admission portal. Applicants must meet the admission requirements, score 100 points and above with relevant subject combination, and obtain five O' level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in WAEC/NECO or their equivalent.

The college's expansion of academic offerings aims to train middle-level manpower to tackle health challenges in the community and the nation.
