The Institute of Education, Gombe State University (GSU) has finalized arrangements to commence a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Health Education (PGDCHE) starting from the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

This innovative programme — the first of its kind in the entire Northeastern geopolitical zone of Nigeria — is designed for Community Health Officers who already possess a National Diploma in Community Health and wish to further their education, enhance their professional competence, and broaden their career opportunities.

The PGDCHE programme aims to develop, strengthen, and expand human capacity in Community Health Education, contributing to the improvement of public health systems across the Northeast and Nigeria at large.
